Kinesiology Majors Development Fund (KMDF) or (Kinesiology Booster Club) Did you Know?

*Income tax and regulatory protocol administered by the Helm Financial Group (2511 Verot School Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508)
*Mission: The KMDF is a non-profit (501c3) organization whose mission is to supply professional development opportunity for Kinesiology undergraduate and graduate students as well as promote the field of Kinesiology throughout the community through fundraising partnerships.
*In 2013 & 2014 the KMDF has awarded over $74,000 to 69 students to offset the expenses of graduate school, conferences, conventions, certifications, and professional development
.
*In 2014 the KMDF donated $43,000 to the David Trosclair Memorial Non-Endowed Scholarship in the UL Foundation. This scholarship awards $15,000 every spring to active members of the UL Kinesiology Professionals Association (KPA).
*In 2014 the KMDF was directly involved in a collaborative fundraising partnership which starting 2 new research grants through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

*In 2014 the KMDF raised $10,000 for the American Cancer Society through the donation and implementation of a live auction at the “For A Cure” golf tournament and gala
.
*In 2014 the KMDF raised $8,000 for the Ragin’ Cajun Athletic Celebration through the donation of silent auction items. The KMDF was responsible for the implementation of the silent auction that raised $50,000 total for the RCAC

*Countless other charities, causes, and organizations have benefited from KMDF partnerships and donations

*In 2015 the KMDF is actively involved in starting yet another research grant for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society through our fundraising partnership.
